A humorous snow warning was made on an image of the Başakşehir-Sivasspor match from the social media account of the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM). MGM shared the players from Sivasspor, who played under the snow in Istanbul yesterday and were not seen on the field because of the white form, “A photo from the Başakşehir-Sivasspor match. There are Sivasspor players in the picture. Did you find it? Be informed, do not get caught unprepared …” message was given.
A warning was given for today’s Beşiktaş-Galatasaray match, based on the image that had a wide coverage in the world sports press yesterday. Besiktas club had announced days ago that it would take to the field in a special white colored jersey with the signatures of the fans. As the snowfall was effective in Istanbul, the Beşiktaş club changed its decision and announced that it would not be wearing a white jersey.
The decision of Beşiktaş to change the uniform was shared on Meteorology’s official Twitter account and it was said “Be informed, do not get caught unprepared.”
